If you are in the market for a used RV there are a few
things to know before you buy. Always do
your homework before you buy. Take care
to notice the condition of the upholstery, carpet, kitchen and bathrooms. It is pretty safe to say that if those have
not been well taken care of then the mechanical parts under the RV are probably
in worse shape. Also, check the black
water tank. It is not going to smell
wonderful, of course, but if it has not been properly maintained there will be
a strong odor that can leak into the entire RV.
Lastly, check the tires, battery, air conditioner and refrigerator. These are the things that will require the
most maintenance in the future so make sure they are currently in good working
order. You should be able to get a good
deal on a used RV so take your time shopping to make sure you are getting
exactly what you want.
