Recreational Vehicles
Traveling and camping have always been popular pastimes for many reasons. Visiting new places, meeting new people, and simply getting away from the "same old, same old" are just a few reasons why traveling and camping have become so popular. But for many, these hobbies haven't really been affordable or realistic - until now.
Today, consumers have more options than ever when it comes time to buy motorhome. Consumers can purchase brand-new or used, and many dealerships offer financing. There are a myriad of websites available for research and "window shopping", and some sites even feature "Buyer's Guides".

Many Americans dream of visiting our natural treasures. From national parks like Yellowstone and Mount Rushmore to breath-taking coastlines like Key West and Bar Harbor, the U.S. offers an amazing range of landscapes for exploring. Especially in these tough economic times, motorhomes or trailers provide an economical alternative to staying in a hotel and eating in restaurants. According to PKF Consulting, “typical RV family vacations are, on average, 26-74 percent less expensive than other types of vacations studied.” When you

"There's something special about an empty road going on and on and on to the horizon where the sun burns the world away into a dancing, shimmering heat haze that reflects the crystal blue sky, literally blurring the line between heaven and earth,” Dave Gorman, an English author and humorist, once said. An RV is the perfect vehicle to pursue your dreams of horizon exploration. Since an RV is a major purchase, it requires careful consideration; well-informed shopping means the difference between years of joy and years of headaches. When you take advantage of
buy rv online websites, you'll turn your RV fantasy into a reality, faster than you might think.

Canada is a beautiful country filled with breathtaking mountain ranges and vibrant forests, making it the perfect destination for RV enthusiasts who appreciate the grandeur of nature. Thousands of gorgeous campgrounds are scattered throughout America’s northern neighbor, but there’s a few places in particular which stand out. Kluane Lake in Yukon is one of the top RV destinations. The enormous lake is known for its fishing, especially whitefish and lake trout. Kluane National Park is nearby, so the family can check out glaciers or hike one of the park’s superb trails. Another top RV destination in Canada is Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario. The park is a meeting point for two different types of forests, which cascade the landscape with color. For travelers who enjoy water recreation, the park boasts unique canoe routes, as well. Best of all, driving your RV to Algonquin is uncomplicated because Highway 60 runs straight through it. Finally, Twin Shores Camping on Prince Edward Island is a fabulous coastal campground with modern facilities available. Families have been taking their RVs to Twin Shores for years to take pleasure in the spectacular sunsets and seaside experience. Ultimately, special memories are in your future wherever you take your RV in Canada so have fun!

Commemorating an RV adventure isn’t limited to pictures and gift shop t-shirts. You may not realize it, but souvenirs are everywhere. Finding unique souvenirs from the environment is fun and memorable. Many people save interesting shells, leaves, or rocks and print the name of the place where they were found. If natural keepsakes aren’t your style, try collecting used license plates or jacket patches instead. While both are not free, they are relatively inexpensive. For those limited on space, write a short song for each spot visited. The whole family can sing the songs “collected” while driving to the next campground. This is also a great way to keep the family entertained during long road trips. Of course bumper stickers are classic souvenirs, showcasing your RV expeditions to everyone around. Finally, some trips are so great they need to be written down. Keeping an RV travel diary is a special way to remember your journeys, and it’s easy to share with loved ones. If your RV has web access, upload a blog and let other RV travelers read it. Remember, next time you’re on the open road, keep an eye out for unique souvenirs!

RV lovers may not consider celebrating their birthday with an RV, but they should! Throwing an RV birthday bash is fun, innovative, and memorable. You can drive the portable party to visit your all-time favorite spots, or discover new locations you’ve always wanted to see. Themed parties are often the most fun, and with an RV, you can take concepts to another level. For example, say the theme is the “best trails in Montana.” You can drive your RV to five or six different hiking hotspots, then hop back on the motor home and eat cake! RVs are a great place to celebrate a child’s birthday, as well. There are limitless ways to entertain young ones. For example, let your little girl and her friends play princesses. Decorate the RV to look like a castle, hide surprises for them to discover, and their imagination will do the rest. If you have a little boy, go on a fishing expedition. Drive his friends around to different local docks and catch fish from each spot. However you choose to celebrate a birthday, remember to consider doing it in an RV!

One of the first things you have to do when setting up in a new RV site, is to check to see if your RV is level. This helps extend the life of appliances and important accessories such as cabinet doors. How do you know for sure that your RV is level? The majority of campgrounds have level pads that are perfectly level. Also, some newer RVs have self-leveling systems. However, there are times when you must take matters into your own hands.
Camping specialty stores have a variety of level testing devices. Advanced electronic devices can make leveling fast, accurate and easy. The devices have lights, letting you know which sides of the RV are level. As with most electronic devices, this is a slightly expensive option. For RV travelers who are on a budget there are many other options. Stick-on levels are a very inexpensive fix, these stick to the sides of your RV. Similar items are available that can be mounted on to trailers or RVs. A bull's eye level can be placed on any flat service and you can read the results from any direction! This makes leveling your RV easier. Making sure that your RV is level is very important; get the right level device to ensure the best for your RV.

Being a fitness junkie on the road is tough. While at home you can follow a workout plan. Going to the gym or jogging around the neighborhood is possible every day. However, when you're on the road in your RV your daily schedule is not the same. You are often not even in the same city two days in a row! But no matter what you're doing you can find a way to squeeze exercising into your RV traveling routine.
When arriving in a new city, or at a new campground, look for places to walk or jog. Many campgrounds have trails for campers. Have you ever thought about turning unloading groceries into a quick workout? You can use anything heavy, like a bagged of canned goods, to do curls. If you're traveling with children then you can use playtime as a fun, healthy workout. Playing basketball or softball with your kids is not only a workout, but it's fun for the whole family! Most RVs have enough room for you to do lunges or squats. Take advantage of the space that you have! Some campgrounds even have gyms for campers to use. If you're at a campground with a gym use the facilities to get a good, solid workout. Staying fit on the road is easy if you find time everyday to exercise!
